On Saturday, I attended a small family gathering. As with all gatherings in any Filipino household, food is involved and not just any food, all the great food that gave me the rather husky stature I hold now.
My resolve faltered that day and the day after: leftovers. How can I say no to dinuguan and short ribs and pancit and pinakbet, and white rice and apple turnovers and...
oh well just gotta get back to it... maybe more time working out will help. Has anyone notice how it is easy to gain 2 pounds in one day but it can take forever to lose those same two pounds afterward. The body works in hateful ways sometimes.
