Hello Again. So after birthday celebration, it was back to manual labor in the name of home ownership. With the help of my friend/coworker and his tools, we got to work on the
laminate flooring bought at
Costco. My friend pretty much started the flooring and helped me with the pattern so it will look all pretty. There's a small area at a corner passed the fireplace that he took care of (thanks man!) The mantle is in it's spot where we will bolt it and now we just keep going with the flooring. Also, the existing moulding was going to be painted but we might as well change all the base moulding too! It'll be white but not the white I bought so some more painting will be done. More as it progresses.
It's starting to look very nice downstairs (except for here):
