Song of the Day (80s edition) - Jody Watley - Looking For a New Love
Drawing from my oddly vast memory of music, I bring you Jody Watley. You know my music taste has gone through quite an evolution since my first cassette tape (that's right cassette tape kids!!!) Right from then, I should've known a little about myself. My first cassette was Information Society and the music I started to listen to mostly were dance songs. I think my second tape was Paula Abdul. From there, my taste went to hip/hop rap. When rap started turning gangster, I took a giant leap to Alternative/ Rock. So my music influence is all over the map, though Country just evades me.
Nevertheless, dance songs were apparently my first love and no matter how much I tried to deny it, I just love these songs that make me move my body in a dancing sorta way.
