Song of the Day: Gravity Kills - Enough

Gravity Kills falls in my angry artist/songs list. If I'm feeling frustrated, hateful, spiteful, and in an all around "YOU SUCK" mood, usually anything in this list makes me feel better.

On top of that I realize now there was something else about Gravity Kills that I like... the lead singer is hawt. Wonder how he looks now.

Heh. I should've known.

Song of the Day: The Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood

When I saw the first Gorillaz video, I was amazed. Yes it was a cartoon band, but I love it. The comic geek in me loved the animation (later on I found out it was the same artist who did Tank Girl) and the music was different but appealing. When Demon Days came out, I had to get the CD. I knew it would be amazing. Many years later, I'm listening to Plastic Beach that just came out. Stylo was the first single and very charting oriented, but the rest of the album seems less so. Maybe this album will weed out the pop fan and bring in the more band oriented fans. I have to admit I was slightly disappointed with Plastic Beach, but the more I listen, the more I realize there are moods to each song. It's one of those albums that grow on me. I love it when I grow to appreciate songs rather than instant love. It makes the experience more rewarding.
