Doesn't the early days of Hip hop seem innocent compared to now?

And even though I'm not a fan of today's incarnation of hip hop, I like it's history. It was underground, it was different, dare i say... alternative? Rap, of course, is a direct result of hip hop. But without those early hiphop artists we would not have the forms of dance, electronic and pop music we have now.

They are so flying under the radar of pop music!

Local and great, I so want to see the Gossip go big, but right now I'm glad just knowing this band is out there. I've heard their shows are just high energy, love to see them one of these days.
