Coming Soon: New Radiohead!

I was a big fan of Radiohead back in the day. The 90s - *shudder*. I think I am a mood driven Radiohead fan now. I don't know if it is the experimental sound they produce, but I have to be in a particular mindset to listen to them. Nevertheless, I tend to pick up on their stuff when they come around again. And guess what? New Radiohead. Click-y for details.

My hands are callused and I'm sore as f@$%!!!!

My quest for weight loss has come to the point where I don't wanna workout. Every morning, I get up and go workout out for about 45 minutes. I've been doing this since the beginning of the year. I've done what I can to switch up the routine to keep it interesting, adding sets, taking off weight, throwing in cardio, doing new exercise, but it's getting boring and tedious and I don't want to get up in the morning anymore!

A couple of months ago, my friend was going through the same dilemma. I told her: just get up and do it. I guess I better listen to my own advise.

I completely understand that I am an aging music geek. My longing for older music is becoming more prevalent than my want for new music. Kinda scary. Then again, it's entertaining to recall what was played back then.

The Power of the internets OR no Timmy om nom nom for NOM

Earlier this morning, I received the news that Tim Hortons was sponsoring a NOM event. I was abuzz and so was the internet. Only a few hours later, Tim Horton's announce they are pulling out of the event. Good going all, this really shows the power of the people.

Drugs are bad mmmmkay?

How can these two drugs be so bad when the affects are not harmful. Sure they impair your judgment, but so does alcohol and that's legal to use. I recently saw a clip where the a state government decided to make salvia illegal citing how the trip the people would go into could cause harm to themselves or others using the argument that the person who would take salvia may jump into a pool and drown because they weren't in control of all their facilities. I've seen that happen with an acquaintance who blacked out from alcohol consumption.

I myself don't do drugs - it's not my thing, and I concede that some drugs are harmful. But we gotta realize not all are the same and we need to know about them and their affects instead of wholly prohibit anything that may inhibit our judegement. Otherwise, prohibit alcohol again. Make it illegal since it is as dangerous as all the other drugs. While we're at it lets make cigarettes illegal. Let see how far that would go...
