True Story:

I was in the 7.0 Earthquake back in 1989... i was but a baby cub back then - 11 years old - but i still remember the pieces of building that tried to fall on us when we were outside. Amid all the stories that arose from that day, the World Series interrupted, Bay Bridge section falls... one that fascinated me was the delay of the earthquake.

After the quake, the news showed a report that was happening right when the quake hit. It was a station that was actually talking to its South Bay affiliate. The affiliate was reporting in and the quake hit, the main station was trying to question what was going on but soon after the quake hit the main station. Just seeing the delay between the two news reporters fascinated me, even though I was terrified from the ordeal.
